The soft light in this photo makes it warm and inviting which is a common characteristic of your photos. I also like the mixture of nature and architecture; I tend to use it in my own work.

The composition could be more flattering by making the depth of field shallower; maybe f/2.8 or f/5.6 max. This will blur out the buildings in the background. Also, choosing a focus point, such as one of the gazebo poles, to create a starting point for the viewer.

I do like point of view photos myself and when taking these photos I try to have one of the lines parallel with the edge of the photo. Maybe one of the poles for the gazebo, the edge of the path or concrete base.

The sun shining through the trees onto the path is a wonderful effect but it seems to be a bit blown out. It would be nice to see all of the detail.

I think this is a wonderful idea and your eye for beauty appears to be akin to my own.
